We are looking for professionals with customer service backgrounds and those who have experience dealing with the public. No security experience is necessary to apply for this job post. If you are the right fit for our organization, we will sponsor you for the Florida Security Licenses for those who are not licensed. 
 
We are seeking entry level-supervisor level candidates.

SPERE is a local Veteran Owned Small Business founded by U.S Marine Corps Veterans. SPERE security mission is to provide a safe and secure environment and act as a deterrent to respond and mitigate risks. The security officer’s primary responsibilities include access control, patrol, traffic control, law enforcement liaison, and interaction with the public. 
 

 

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to complete routine paperwork.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety, security rules, and procedures.
Conditions of Employment
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Class D Security License for unarmed positions. 
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Class G Security License for armed positions. 
  • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
  • Must pass a Drug test.
  • Must complete an employment assessment test
  • Moderate physical activity; requires handling of average-weight objects and standing or walking for extended periods of time.
Pay Rate is $12.75-$16.00 depending on site and position.
