Job Description
We are looking for skilled and personable Event Security Officers to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing access points, monitoring crowds, and ensuring that guests adhere to event protocols. This role is ideal for security officers who excel in crowd management, customer service, and maintaining safety in dynamic, high-energy settings.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage entry points, verify credentials, and control access to restricted areas
•Monitor crowd dynamics to ensure safety and respond proactively to potential issues
•Assist guests with directions, answer questions, and ensure adherence to event guidelines
•Enforce policies regarding prohibited items, and ensure orderly crowd movement
•Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, de-escalate situations, and collaborate with event staff and law enforcement as needed
•Maintain thorough and accurate incident reports and logs throughout the event
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent required; event security or crowd management experience preferred
•Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or event staffing is highly advantageous, but not mandatory open to attracting new talent
•Valid state security officer D license
•Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
•Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and in crowded environments
•Must pass a background check
